Ravenstar and Tigerlilly

Ravenstar padded queitly out of his den into the silent clearing. The only cat present was Tigerlilly, Shadowclan's deputy. Ravenstar waited a few seconds to take in all the scents. He felt a cool breeze ruffle his fur and saw the menacing shadows of the redwoods that loomed overhead. He slowly made his way over to where Tigerlilly sat eating a squirrel. He slowly layed done next to her slender body. Close enough to feel her breathing. He nodded off as Tigerlilly finished her delightfully plump squirrel.

The dark tabby she cat sat in the clearing, eating her squirrel. She hungrelily gulped it down, giving signs that she was hungrey. She felt the warm sun beat down on her, and the sun scurrying away behind the clouds. It was one of those normal newleaf days she'd been hoping for all leafbare. She hated leafbare; she hated the cold. She finished her squirrel and sat up to face Ravenstar coming towards her. She gave him a quick warm smile, followed by a nod. "Hello Ravenstar." she mewed politly.

"Hello Tigerlilly" Ravenstar mewed as he slowly licked Tigerlilly's ear. "Are you ready to lead a border patrol"

[Tigerlily]

The dark tabby she cat twitched her tail in boardom as she waited for Fawnmist's response. Her eyes, whiskers, and ears said one thing; that she was feeling very happy around Ravenstar. She seemed to always feel this way around him. Her eyes also said that she was still thinking deep thoughts. They were about the past of her life; from living with ShadowClan to being a stray to getting found. When Ravenstar responded her eyes thoughtfully gazed at him, and then went back to their normal staring position. "Sure, let's go." She got up on her legs and bounded over to patrol.

(It's fine. I'm assuming their already mates.)

Raventstar queilty padding towards his den thinking about Tigerlily the entire way there.
Why does she make me so happy? its such a good feeling to know that I have someone to love
He pushed aside the lichen covering the entrance to the den layed with only his head sticking out viewing silent clearing. He waited for the border patrol to return from their task. He watched as the apprentices replaced moss in the elders den and the kits pretended to be Tigerstar.
I was life were always this simple

[Tigerlily]

Tigerlily looked at Ravenstar, her mate, her love, her friend, and her leader. She felt o easy around him, and very comfertable too. She had always wondered what trigered the spark between them that made instant love. She shook her head clear of all and any thoughts, and continued padding towards the border. She looked back to see Ravenstar padding back to his den. "Ravenstar, you coming?" she asked

"I guess a quick patrol won't hurt" Ravenstar leaped out of his den to join his o so wonderful mate. They patrol did a quick sweep of the borders before returning to camp. Ravenstar and Tigerlilly sat down to share a nice plump vole. As they were eating their tails intertwined. After they ate they decided to nap together in Ravenstars den. After the nap Ravenstar notice the freshkill pile was low and asked Tigerlilly to organize a patrol to go out hunting.

[Tigerlily]

Tigerlily padded along with Ravenstar on border patrol. She looked left and right, and twitched her ears all around. No noises were heard at all during this patrol. She gaped her jaws in a huge yawn, and went back to camp to share a vole with Ravenstar. It tasted savory and juicy to her as she toke bites out of it carefully; enjoying her meal. Once she was done, she went to go take a nap with Ravenstar in his den. Peaceful sleep came down on her throughout the entire nap. She woke up, and listened to Ravenstar's orders. "Sure no problem." she mewed politely. She gathered a patrol to go hunting.

Ravenstar queitly padded into his den to wait for the hunting patrol to return. As he waited his mind drifted to thoughts of his childhood. Him growing up in Thunderclan but finding out his mother was in Shadowclan. Him killing a cat. Oooo that terrrible feeling. A feelng he never wanted to feel again. He had taken the life of a warrior who just wanted to protect. He slowly drifted back into reality as the hunting patrol returned with little to nothing. Ravenstar padded up to the patrol and queitly but firmly mewed "Where is our fresh kill." The patrol explained how they scented a fox, although it was stale they still wanted to return for safety. As the patrol poured back into their dens Ravenstar had a moment alone with Tigerlilly."Would you like to go for a walk in he meadow?"

[Tigerlily]

Tigerlily padded back with a frog. They were very tasty to her; the skiny was chewy, and underneath it tasted like rabbits and fish mixed together. The patrol had hardly caught anything, but that was fault of a fox. She saw Ravenstar padding up to her demanding to know what was up. "Fox." she replied. "We smelled a fox." She looked at her patrol nodding worridly, and looked back at Ravenstar. When he asked her the next thing, she replied "Sure. Let's go to the meadow." She dropped her frog on the fresh kill pile, and padded with Ravenstar to the meadow.

As they padded into the meadow Ravenstar bounding into the tall swaying grass. Their tails intertwined and they thought back to the times when they were just apprentices from different clans that only saw eachother at Fullmoons. Ravenstar never told Tigerlilly but he had liked her from the moment he set eyes on her

[Tigerlily]

The dark tabby she cat of ShadowClan padded along with Ravenstar until they reached stopping point. She twined her tail with him, and pressed against him, feeling the warmth of his fur, and his heart beating. She began thinking back to the times they were apprentices; seeing each other only at the full moon. But now they were together here, in the same clan, with the permission and power to be mates. She had first met him, becoming friends, and then close friends, and then falling in love with him until they finally became mates. It was a complicated process but it was all worth it to Tigerlily.

The whole idea of being mates with Tigerlilly seemed impossible to Ravenstar. He was a cat from another clan that she would never like, nor love. The whole process of becoming mates seemed like it took forever but it was so worth it. Being able to spend all the time he wants with her and not having to compete with other toms. It was a feeling like no other.

[Tigerlily]

Tigerlily looked at Ravenstar once more. It truely was worth it becoming mates with him. It had seemed to take a long time, but they finally made it happen. They overcame all possiabiltys of breaking the warrior code and became mates. She pressed closer to him, her fur rubbing against his fur, and closed her eyes gently. She breathed in his sweet scent; his so sweet shadowclan scent. She opened her eyes, and gave him a quick lick on the top of his head. It was a soft delicate one; one only mats shared with each other. "I love you Ravenstar." she mewed warmly.

Those words made Ravenstars heart melt. Everytime Tigerlilly spoke those words with her sweet voice made Raventstar feel like he had a place in the world. A Purpose His purpose was to lead Shadowclan and raise his kits into great warriors. That was and still is his purpose With Tigerlilly at his side it felt like they could do anything
