It has been one year since the fall of Sun's Death and the Renegades. It has been many moons since the cats who turned into wolves joined their packs. After all the chaos, things actually begin to seem normal, and peaceful. Apprentices are being trained right and left, pups are being born, and the all around circle of life continues. Little do the forest wolves know that a time of depression and drought is coming. The Earth is beginning to warm up, and it's not normal. Everything is going crazy and canines are driving themselves insane. However, the packs are all struggling with different problems, besides the extreme heat and lack of rain.
ThunderPack's once lush forest is beginning to die and dry up, leaving the thin-coated wolves vulnerable to the deadly sun. Not to mention all their prey is scuttling to live by the river. This drives the pack of the Thunder to the river, constantly colliding with RiverPack.
RiverPack is loosing their river rapidly. There is only a small stream or creek flowing through the basin, and loads of silt and rocks pollute the water, making it very muddy. They are always defending it from ThunderPack, who is also stealing their prey and herbs. Some say the river now runs red from all the pointless blood-shed.
ShadowPack and the Renegades have the best of it of all the forest packs. The marshes haven't entirely dried up, and the carrion place is always loaded. However, the two are always on edge with each other, waiting for one to break the treaty. Little did they know that some humans have taken camp on their territory and are hunting them down for food and for clothing, or just for the heck of it. ShadowPack has deadly secrets they are holding, which could be their downfall. Will the two have to team together and rid themselves of the two-legged menace?
WindPack, hands down, has the worst of it. With no shelter, no water source, or prey, they are slowly dying one by one. And it doesn't really help that their dark coats absorb the heat, making them exhausted quicker. As if dropped down from StarPack, a band of rogues, The BloodCult, serve the WindPack wolves as they lead them to fresh water and prey in a secret location. Actually, the BloodCult are a pack of cannibals who are picking them off one by one.
In the midst of all the mayhem, something must be done to save the forest and it's inhabitants. Which pack will you join? Choose your own destiny, follow your heart, and survive. You are.... The Reborn.
